Heritage of Natore

According to historians, the origins of the Natore dynasty in the eighteenth century. Among the zamindars of Uttarakhand, the king of Natore was in the status of honor and property. Raja Ramjivan Roy is the founder of the Raj dynasty of Natore. Ramkanta Roy, son of Ramjivan, is married to Bhavani, the only daughter of Swataram Choudhury of Chhatian village of Bogra district. King Ramzivan Roy died in 1730. Prior to his death, he appointed Ramakant Roy to the king and Dewan Daraam Roy as his guardian. Rani Bhabani took charge of managing zamindari after the husband's death. In the history of Natore, he is known as a philanthropist Maharani and is still unmoved by his memory. Rani Bhabani had a sincere relationship with the independent Nawab Siraj-ud-Daula of Bengal. It is said that in the Battle of Plassey, Rani Bhabani adopted the Nawab.

Later, Rani Bhabani was pleased with Naib Daram and presented him the Dighapatiya Pargana. The present Uttara Ganobhaban, established in Dighapatia, was established during the time of progeny King Raja of Dana. In time, this royal palace was first established in Uttara Ganobhaban after the governor's house and later in Bangladesh.

Dighapatiya dynasty and Rajbari

When Ramjivan, the founder of Natore dynasty, used to work under Dorparnayana, the Puthia king, he reached Kalam village of Chalanbali area on the occasion of his work. At that time, two boys appeared before the King Ramjivan. After learning a little education, he was able to spend the money and Ramjivan appointed him a monthly salary of 5 rupees instead of monthly 8. Later, Puthiya king Darparnarayan loved affection, love and sympathy, the influence of brother Raghunandan in the Nawab government, and the Nawab of the Nawab of Bengal Nawab Murshid Quli Khan - when Ramjiban got zamindari, all along with Ramjivan, he started fate of Daraam. After the fall of Raja Sitaram Rai, Daraam Ray became a powerful figure in Natore State. When Raja Sitaram Ray of Jessore was a rebel, Nawab Murshid Quli Khan was imprisoned in Natore jail by suppressing and defeating him with the help of Dewan Rai of Natore Raj.
